CAAMP LIVE!! | NEW YORK CITY

Indie Folk band Caamp performed September 21st on the Summer Stage in New York City's Central Park to a crowd of excited fans as part of their Lavender Days tour. Following incredible performances from openers Speaking Suns and Cut Worms, and ending their pre-set playlist with an obligatory "September" by Earth, Wind, and Fire, Caamp took the outdoor stage and performed a set of over 20 stunning songs, from slow heartfelt ballads to high energy upbeat folk anthems, as the perfect way to mark the end of Summer.

They opened their set with just the singer and guitarist performing a stripped version of their song "26", positioned further back on the stage on a raised pedestal painted with flowers and adorned with string lights. The full band took the stage and the set continued with songs "Great Heights" and "By and By". They filled the night with songs from throughout their discography, including several off of their new album "Lavender Days". A standout moment was their cover of The Lumineers', who they recently toured with, "Sleep On The Floor", mashed up with their own "All The Debts I Owe". Their performances of "Come With Me Now" and "The Otter", both off of "Lavender Days", also stood out - the latter of which was the closing song before an encore, and hearing the chorus of voices of fans singing along to it in Central Park can only be described a perfect moment.

Caamp is an indie folk band from Ohio, and has been releasing music since their debut self-titled album in 2016. They recently released a new album, "Lavender Days", and have been touring across the country in celebration of it. Caamp will continue touring throughout September into the start of October, and are not a show to miss. Be sure to check out if they're coming to your city, and find their music, including "Lavender Days" on streaming services.
