MELVINS LIVE!! | CATS CRADLE CHAPEL HILL

As I'm standing outside the Cat's Cradle in Carrboro, just chilling before the concert, the crown is gathering and you can see the excitement on their faces for the show. People were excited for the powerhouse that is The Melvins to take the stage. People were lining up early to get in. The Melvins got the crowd going with a pummeling set that focused on the trio’s older material, which nobody was complaining about. There wasn't much of a break between songs as the Melvins were just in your face with their amazing songs. They had an epic 15 song set. The Melvins commanded the stage and the crowd never took their eyes off them. The craziest thing I had noticed about the show was that nobody has their phones out and were truly in the present enjoying the show. Which was so refreshing to see! If you haven't seen the Melvins live, you're really missing out seeing LEGENDS on the stage. Get a ticket and go!!!!
