We got to cover one of the most popular and hard-hitting metal bands on the scene today. Wage War brought their powerful sound of metal to the Lincoln Theater, and I am pretty sure they shook the foundation of the building. The venue was packed with metal fans jumping, headbanging and crowd surfing while a huge mosh pit engulfed the center of the crowd. Fans were singing the lyrics back to lead singer Briton Bond while he ran back and forth across the stage, even jumping on a stage riser and leaning over the crowd at times. Wage War sounded great, and they brought a ton of energy to their stage performance. One of the biggest moments of the night for me was this incredible light show happening behind the band as they sang and performed some of their heaviest songs. We unfortunately were unable to get “pit” access to photograph them due to it being closed off, but we were able to get some great pictures from the floor and balcony. You can see how packed the venue was and how much fun everyone was having while Wage War performed. It was a great show and if you are a metal fan than this is a tour you don’t want to miss and if you are a Wage War fan then you know exactly how awesome they are live.
