MATT NATHANSON LIVE!! | REDHAT AMPHITHEATER

Matt Nathanson performed at the Redhat Amphitheater in Raleigh NC and there were a few things I learned. For starters, Matt is very engaging with his fans. He would talk with people in the crowd in between songs and really engage in conversation with fans, he is extremely entertaining and wicked funny, and he does a great cover of Queen and David Bowies classic hit “Under Pressure”. It really was an amazing cover. Matt Nathanson put on a solid performance that kept you engaged, and he sounded great! He played some of his best-known songs such as “Come on get higher” as well as “Adrenaline” and “Giants”. Two songs I was sad not to hear which are two of my favorites is “Car Crash” and “Falling Apart”, maybe he will perform them at another show! He honestly has so many good songs it must be hard to pick which ones to perform. He did play the song “Bill Murray” and told a funny story about how the song came to be and how the real Bill Murray reacted to hearing it. You will just have to hear that story when you go to see him perform.

Matt really was a lot of fun to see perform. His humor, positive energy and overall performance really did make for a great experience. Don’t miss his performance, you get some great music with some funny stories.
