Mya performed at the Coastal Credit Union Music Park (Walnut Creek) on the Queens of R&B Tour. Mya is a legend in the world of R&B due to her performing style and catalog of songs. Some of her biggest hits were, “My Love is like Wo”, “Lady Marmalade”, “It’s all about me” and her many collaborations as well including “Ghetto Superstar” by Pras. Mya performance in Raleigh was, “smooth”, which is the best way I can describe it. She walked out on stage with this classy strong woman energy wearing large high heal boots that went above her knees. She sounded great and looked amazing. She was happy and smiling during her performance which is always great to see because the artists attitude really enhances the fan experience. She sang some classic songs, and the entire amphitheater would sing along to some of their favorites. Mya is still as talented as she was 20+ years ago, still sounds amazing and it was a great experience to see her perform live.
