We covered The Band Camino during their tour stop in Raleigh at the Ritz Music Venue to a sold-out crowd of very dedicated and excited fans. The Band Camino formed in 2015 and released their first full length album in 2019 called “The Band Camino”, which included the songs “1 last Cigarette”, “Roses” and “Underneath my skin”. To be honest, the entire album is awesome. I really enjoy listening to just about every track on that record. They then followed up that album with their 2023 release called “Dark” which is a great rock album. The song that really kicks it into gear on this album is called “Told you so” as well as “Three-month hangover” and “It’s you”. With the album “Dark” the band put out another killer album. One of my favorite songs is not on either one of those albums and I think was put out as an E.P in 2019, but the song is called “See Through”. I think it is a great rock song and I love listening to it on repeat.
The band has a dedicated fan base and it showed that night when they performed to the sold out crowd at the Ritz. I saw fans screaming, dancing, jumping up and down and just going wild as the band performed. The band sounded amazing and they had great energy. This was one of my first experiences seeing the band perform live and I was not disappointed. They had a killer lighting set up as well as these props placed all around the stage that looked like old fishing boxes taken from a beaten up fishing pier. If you are a fan of this band then you will not want to miss this tour. I had a great time and as you will see in the images, everyone at the venue that night had a great time as well. I can’t wait to see what this great band comes up with next on future records.
