UNTIL I WAKE LIVE!! | LOCAL 506

Well, it happened! f28 has covered one of the best hard rock/metal bands out there today and they go by the name “Until I Wake”.   I first heard this band while skimming through new music on YouTube and the song called “Octane” popped up on my feed.  Ever since then, I have been a fan. The band is based out of Buffalo New York and are making major headway and gaining new fans every day.  The band is currently on tour and will be performing at several festivals over the 2024 concert season.  We were lucky enough to catch their performance at the Local 506. The Local 506 is a small music venue based in Chapel Hill North Carolina and is a great place to see bands for two reasons.  One, due to the venue being small (roughly 200 max) you get close up personal experience with the band that you might not get at other venues and second, this small club opened up in 1992 so you are in a place that has a great history!

Now onto the show!

The band came on to the stage ready to perform.  The band said hello to the fans and were embraced as they started into their first song.  They played a short set of about 7 to 8 songs but performed with heart and energy.  Though the venue was small they played as if they were in sold out arena and their energy never let up.  Each band member was jumping around the small stage and even at one point the bands lead singer jumped of the stage and started to run in circles around the small mosh pit being formed in front of the stage.  The band was fun to watch and listen to, they were full of energy and passion when performing.  The fans that were there got a really great close up and personal experience with the band and it was really a fun show to watch.  They are currently still on tour so check out their website for dates!
