LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this marriage of Punk-Pop meets country. This collaboration of Taylor Acorn’s Greener with the vocal additions of Mitchell Tenpenny in this version take this song to another level. The original version is amazing itself, but the duet is even better with their combined powerful voices. The lyrics are empowering, powerful, and hold so much strength and solidity to them. The instrumentals ebb and flow with the vocal harmony perfectly and live up to the Pop-punk/Country vibe, with a flare of Rock to it. This is the kind of music I used to listen to in High School that will always be a favorite of mine, and even though its been a long time since then, it takes me back to that time. I had not heard of either of them before this, and now that I have I need to check each one of them further. Yes, I did add it to my own playlist after listening to it three times….and you should too.
