“I got the chance to photograph Dierks Bentley for 94.7 QDR based out of Raleigh NC. I will be honest that I am not much of a country music listener, but I really enjoyed his show. He came out to the crowd and really embraced every moment. He had this huge screen behind the stage that would play videos of the songs he was singing, or they would show fans in the crowd. I even found myself really digging some of the songs. Dierks sounded great and his show was strong and engaging. I would recommend country fans to not miss out on seeing his show. He even got this punk rock indie kid to bop his head, that’s not easy to do. ;)”
Dierks Bentley: A Career Built on Consistency and Chart‑Topping Hits
Frederick Dierks Bentley (born November 20, 1975) is an American country music singer and songwriter whose career has been defined by steady success and a long string of chart‑topping singles. Bentley signed with Capitol Nashville in 2003 and released his self‑titled debut album that same year. Both the debut and its follow‑up, Modern Day Drifter (2005), went platinum in the United States, establishing him as one of country music’s rising stars.
His third album, Long Trip Alone (2006), earned gold certification and was followed in 2008 by a greatest hits collection. Bentley continued to evolve his sound with Feel That Fire in 2009, and in 2010 he shifted gears with Up on the Ridge, a bluegrass‑inspired project that showcased his versatility. He returned to mainstream country with Home in 2012 and Riser in 2014. His eighth album, Black, arrived in 2016, followed by The Mountain in 2018.
