I photographed G-Eazy during his tour stop in North Carolina at the Walnut Creek. The crowd was a decent size of between 7,000 and 8,000 people. The show started off with three huge screens that layered the stage. This screens stood at least 100 feet or more tall. He had one in the center of the stage and one on each side of the stage. Before he came out the lights went dim and at the center of the stage a bright foggy light comes on. G-Eazy makes his entrance. The crowd started screaming and fans were pushing themselves closer into the barricade. The music was loud, and when I mean loud I mean “holy shit, I am deaf” loud. I had ear plugs in and I could feel the bass reverberate through my skull. As he walked on stage he started right into his music. The bass was thick and like I said, you could feel it in your skull. He sounded clear and understandable. The screens behind him lit up with different images, colors and at one point a huge white cross. His fan base is loyal and his show was simple yet entertaining. He moved around a lot and engaged the audience and seemed to be having fun and enjoyed being on stage with his North Carolina fans.
