CONCERT HIGHLIGHT | VAMPIRE WEEKEND

Vampire weekend made a tour stop in Raleigh NC at the RedHat Amphitheater to an almost sold out if not sold out crowd. They are currently their tour called “The father of the Bride Tour”. We got to cover them when they stop by Raleigh NC.

Vampire Weekend is on tour supporting their latest release “Father of the Bride” which was released on May 3rd 2019. The new album has great reviews across the board with a 97% positive rating from google users.

It was a hot night out and that did not stop dedicated fans from coming out to watch Vampire Weekends unique and visually exciting set. They had this huge globe behind them on the stage and it gave this almost bigger then the world kind of feeling. The band sounded great with lead vocalist Ezra Koenig took charge and the double drums never missed a beat and blended together nicely. One of the most impressive and really amazing performances was done by the bands lead guitarist Brian Robert Jones. He would go into these epic sounding, mind exploding solo’s that got the crowd screaming in excitement at the end of them. The rest of the band played very well and did not move around the stage that much but kept the music going with strong and consistent performances.
