His new record is just another example of his endearing writing style and ability to connect with music lovers around the world. “Friends,
Today, my new EP, Court Street, is available everywhere. We’d have liked to do the big release show thing and then tour all over the place in support of this project, but that wasn’t meant to be. Rather than delay, though, we kept these songs in the pipeline, hoping they might be something nice amidst our collective struggles right now.
I hope you’re okay. I hope you’re healthy and staying as positive as you can. I’ve seen some incredible acts of kindness and generosity over the past couple weeks, both from afar and up close. It hasn’t kept me from lying wide awake in bed, and it hasn’t kept me from worrying about what’s next, but it has kept me hopeful. Thank you for listening to and supporting this music. You’re a big part of my own hope. I hope you find some comfort, or at least maybe a nice distraction, in Court Street.
