Anthrax brought their 40th anniversary tour to The Fillmore in Silver Spring, Maryland on Thursday August 18th. Before Anthrax took the stage, they streamed a video where other musicians spoke about the legacy and impact Anthrax has made for 40 years. The curtain fell and the room exploded. Every member of Anthrax gave their all on stage from the second they set foot on it and the fans replicated that energy. Thirty seconds in, crowd surfers were everywhere and mosh pits formed. The show proved why Anthrax have gone down as legends and it is clear fans hope they tour for even longer.
