Black Label Society LIVE! | RITZ RALEIGH

f28 Covered the legendary metal band Black Label Society at the Ritz Music Venue on August 30th 2022.

This tour stop had two great supporting acts that came on before Black Label Society performed. The first band to perform was called ‘The Native Howl”. The band introduced themselves as an acoustic metal band and they were amazing! I loved there sound and they were a great choice to open up the show. Check out some of the pictures below!

After The Native Howl performed, next to hit the stage was an incredible guitarist and musician named Jared James Nichols. He was full of energy and tore up the stage with his blend of rock and roll and incredibly detailed solo’s that got the crowed going! Check out the images below!

Now on to the headliners of the night, Black Label Society!

The entire band hit the stage with an unlimited amount of energy with lead singer and guitarist Zakk Wylde going front and center bringing his well known head-banging skills to his performance. The entire venue went wild when BLS came out onto the stage. Lead singer and guitarist Zakk’s mic stand had skulls laying on top of each other rising up the stand with a cross topping it off. The band as a whole sounded clear and clean with no hiccups in regards to their gear sounding off of out of tune. You could see the band was happy to be there with drummer Phil Ondich smiling during the entire performance. Bassist John “JD” Deservio was walking around the stage reaching his hands out to the crowd always making sure to engage the crowd. The entire band put on a great performance and it was definitely a show anyone who loves metal music should check out. Black Label Society is a band every metal fan needs to see live.
