JEREMY ZUCKER LIVE!! | MARYLAND
Jeremy Zucker brought his is nothing sacred? tour to The Fillmore in Silver Spring, Maryland on November 3rd 2023. Personally, I have been a big fan of Jeremy for a long time so I had high expectations for this show. The show delivered. Zucker didn’t only have amazing vocals and cool screen visuals, he also had a very unique flower field stage set up. Being a fan for quite some time, I also felt like he did a great job mixing old music in while also showcasing his new stuff. He even played some of his songs which featured Chelsea Cutler, which he made sure to continuously shout her out.
The Fillmore is not a tiny venue, but Jeremy made sure to make the show feel intimate for every single fan. He constantly interacted with the crowd, they had live cameras set up that were connected to the big screens behind him, he told personal and relatable stories, and even brought up a fan on stage. He had asked the crowd if genuinely anyone had a bad day before coming to the show –– when one fan said she did because she got in a car accident that morning, he invited her on stage and dedicated his song “Cry With You” to her.
With the Fillmore being in Silver Spring Maryland, it is not exactly Washington D.C., which Jeremy recognized. He asked the crowd what exactly should artists call the area. Some voted for “DMV” (DC, Maryland, Virginia) which is all encompassing, DC, or something else. With some back and forth, Jeremy decided to call the crowd “fuckers” which got a smile and laugh out of everyone in the room.
Jeremy’s concert was a unique one which made everyone in the room feel very connected to him and like they were truly experiencing something special.
