LOLO LIVE!! | RITZ MUSIC VENUE

LoLo performed at the Ritz Music Venue in support of Boy’s Like Girls and she was awesome!  We covered LoLo several years ago I believe when she was opening up for another group, but we were excited to know she would be performing at this show.   She is full of energy and always sounds great when singing.  LoLo is a Canadian singer songwriter who gained fame on the app called TikTok by doing reimagined cover songs from some of her favorite artists.  Do not let the garnered fame from TikTok fool you though because she is way more than that app.  Her song “Debbie Downer” is an unbelievably addictive song that will have you replaying it over and over again.  The hook, lyrics and composition of the song are so catchy it just aluminates fun filled energy.  A few other great songs from her growing catalog are “You turn me on”, “Dancing in the Dark (cover song)” and “Faceplant”.  These are just a few and I do advise you check out her music just to see the other great songs she is putting out. 

Her performance was really fun to watch.  She sounded great and she ran around the stage really engaging with everyone there.   Her band mates were laughing and dancing around as well which just made the show even better.  When bands and artists are having fun with everyone it really does amp up the performance and energy in the venue.  I am so happy to see her growing as a musician and gaining respect in the pop punk scene as well as the music world in general. She will only continue move forward in her music and we are excited to see where she goes! I have no doubt in my mind that LoLo will soon be touring arenas around the world.
