STATE CHAMPS LIVE!! | RITZ MUSIC VENUE
State Champs performed at the Ritz in Raleigh to an almost sold-out venue. I have been wanting to see State Champs perform live for several years. I have seen the energy they have on stage from YouTube videos shared by either the band or other music fans. The band is a pop punk band based out of Albany New York and formed in 2010. They have released 4 full length albums at the time of this article. The band is known for many hit songs but the ones that are most well-known are “Secrets”, “Dead and Gone” and “Everybody but you”. These are just a few and by no means encapsulates their incredible song catalog. If you are a pop punk fan than I would recommend you check any or all of their albums, you will not be disappointment.
Now let’s talk about the show!
To start off trying to explain their performance, I just have to say the energy was top notch. The band was 100% engaged with the fans and really made sure everyone was having a great time. They sang some of their biggest hits and the entire venue was signing along. During their performance you started seeing fans crowd surfing, jumping up and down, dancing and passionately singing each lyric. The band as whole sounded amazing and the cool light show they had only enhanced the experience. They put on one of the best shows of the year. It was great to see them finally perform and also bring so much excitment and energy to the stage.
