SHANIA TWAIN LIVE!! | PNC ARENA
F28 got the opportunity to cover the legendary country singer Shania Twain during her tour stop at the PNC Arena in Raleigh North Carolina. Shania Twain is one of the most influential country artists of her genre with songs that have crossed over different genres of music and whose songs were a mainstay on radio stations around the world. Some of her biggest hits include, “from this moment”, “Man, I feel like a woman”, “Forever and Always”, “You’re still the one”, “That Don’t Impress me much” and so many others. Shania Twain has sold over 100 million records throughout your illustrious career which made her one of the top selling female artists in country music of all time.
One of the things I really enjoyed about her performance was the way she interacted with the crowd. She was very engaging, personable and really wanted the music fans attending to have a great time. There was an incredible light show with this large stage where she could walk around freely. One of the cool parts of the show happened before the show even started. After the lights went low and the crowd went wild, I and other photographers saw a light pierce through the crowd towards the left side of the stage. I could not see very well but then, rising up like a phoenix breaking through the dark shadows, the one and only Shania Twain began to sing. She wore large sunglasses and was pushed around between the crowd so even fans a little further back go to see her up close and personal. I thought that was a really cool things to see, not many artists do that and it is always a fun thing to experience.
Shania Twain put on a great show and really did bring as much energy as she could to her performance. If you are a fan of Shania Twain or want to see a country music legend sing some incredible songs, then this is the tour to see.
