A DAY TO REMEMBER LIVE!! | REDHAT AMPHITHEATER

A Day to Remember performed at the Redhat Amphitheater in Raleigh NC on 07/02/24 and put on one of the best shows of the year.  A Day to Remember or also known as “ADTR” is a a hardcore/pop punk/alternative band based out of Ocala Florida and was formed in 2003.  The band has a unique ability of creating songs with high energy, passion and singer Jeremy McKinnon lyrics bring it all together.  When you listen to any of their albums you, at least for me, feel like the band is right next to you making sure you’re ok and expressing things you feel out loud for you.  I don’t know how else to describe it but that is the best way I can verbally express it. Basically, when I listen to their music, I don’t feel alone, and I feel like I am a part of something I can’t explain but it always makes me feel good.

The band was performing at the Redhat for the first time and the city of Raleigh came out to make sure ADTR knew they were loved.   The band had some great supporting acts which included, Pain of Truth, Four Year Strong and The Story So Far.  Each of the supporting bands were fun to watch, sounded great and got the crowd ready for ADTR.  The last time I saw ADTR perform was at the Ritz Music Venue in Raleigh NC, which is a smaller venue, so space was limited for them when performing.  When I heard, they were coming to the Redhat I was excited to see what the band would do performing on a larger stage with more room, and they made use of the extra space!  During the performance the band had confetti cannons and smoke cannons shooting off, pyrotechnics, fire cannons and a crazy light show simultaneously going off during their high energy driven performance.  It, was, awesome!!

The band performed some of their biggest songs including, “All I want”, “Paranoia”, “All Signs Point to Lauderdale and many others.  One of my favorite songs from them is “If it Means a Lot to you” and ended the night with “Downfall of Us All”.  I really can’t say anything more than this performance being one of the best of the year that we have covered.  It hit all the boxes, great music, great energy, great venue and the band sounded incredible.  If you are a ADTR fan, then this tour is one you don’t want to miss.  They perform almost 20+ songs so you are going to hear some of your favorites for sure.
