The Good Kid show was one of the best shows we covered this year. The venue was packed with excited fans who went wild when the band hit the stage. Each band member was energetic and happy to be there. You saw the camaraderie between each band member and the love they have for the music they write. There was even a point in the show where one band member had messed up on the intro to a song and instead of anyone getting mad, they all just laughed and restarted the song. Each band member teased each other and were just having a blast. The energy they brought to the stage was filled with fun and humor. They were engaging with the fans and the crowd was singing along with each song performed. This was my first experience covering them and it was by far one of the best shows of the year. I also met a young girl with her mom that drove all the way from Virginia to see her favorite band perform live. What a great show and I will definitely be keeping an eye out for them when they come into town again. Don’t miss this show, it is so much fun and great music as well!
