PIXIES LIVE!! | STARLIGHT THEATER
Wrapping up the last week in June, The Pixies and Modest Mouse stopped in Kansas City to perform at Starlight Theater. While it was a hot night in KC, the Pixies performance was electric all night long.
Now if you're not into bad ass rock and roll then you're probably not familiar with the Pixies, and that's okay, just know you're missing out. For those who have been living under a rock here's a quick rundown. Pixies have been around since the 80s and have been killing the game ever since. The band is originally from Boston and is made up of four members: Black Francis (Guitarist), Joey Santiago (Guitarist), Emma Richardson (Bass), and David Lovering
(Drums). As of March 4th, 2024, Emma is the band's newest member, and she absolutely killed it on stage! You would never have known she hasn't been with them for years with the way she was rocking out.
In addition to playing their newly released song, You’re So Impatient, the band had a pretty packed full setlist. Including, U-Mass, Wave of Mutilation, Isla de Encanta, Planet of Sound, The Happening, Caribou and many more. Overall, it was an electric night in KC
