STYX LIVE!! | WALNUT CREEK

Coverage by Chris Sturk

Styx performed at the Walnut Creek and put on one of the most energetic and incredible performances of the year. The band is best known for their hits including, “Lady”, “Too Much Time on my Hands”, “Babe”, “Mr. Roboto”, “Come sail away” and many others. The band was synonymous with writing incredible chart-topping hit songs over the course of their career and seeing them continue to tour and let fans experience those songs live is such a great thing to see. The grammy nominated band Styx has sold over 54 million records worldwide and has left an indelible impact on the world of music. The band was formed in the early 70’s and found became worldwide musical sensations in the early 80’s.

We have had the opportunity to cover the is legendary band before during their tour stop in Durham NC a few years ago and they always put on a fun show. The entire group was full of energy and enthusiastically moved around the stage which was awesome to see and impressive with most of the band members being above the age of 70 years old. The band as a whole sounded amazing, the vocal performances were awesome, and I did not hear one issue with the bands singing performance. Styx is still a band that packs arenas and large amphitheaters which only proves to the world they are still one of the most loved bands in music.
