ICE NINE KILLS NIGHT 2 | RITZ MUSIC VENUE
Coverage by Chris Sturk
Ice Nine Kills brought the house down on the second night of their electrifying two-night performance at the Ritz Music Venue in Raleigh on May 1st. Following an equally energetic set on April 30th, the band delivered another intense, theatrical spectacle that had the entire venue roaring along to every song.
Unlike the first night, which featured Funeral Portrait, The Word Alive, and Melrose Avenue as support acts, Night 2 brought a fresh lineup with Hail the Sun, Dark Devine, and TX2 setting the stage for the main event. While much of the eerie theatricality remained, some horror-themed scenes from the previous night were swapped out, keeping the experience dynamic and unpredictable.
The highlight of the night was Ice Nine Kills performing The Silver Scream 2: Welcome to Horrorwood in its entirety, giving fans the immersive horror-inspired metalcore experience they came for. They topped it off with a thrilling encore featuring three additional tracks, leaving the crowd in awe.
Throughout the show, the band maintained an electrifying presence, engaging the audience and making every song feel like an interactive event. Smiles, screams, and pure adrenaline filled the venue, cementing this performance as one of the best live shows of 2025. Ice Nine Kills once again proved why they are masters of their craft—blending horror and music into an unforgettable experience.
