Veil of Maya — Live at The Ritz, Raleigh NC

Veil of Maya delivered a high‑impact, high‑precision performance at The Ritz in Raleigh on May 15, 2024, turning the venue into a whirlwind of technical metalcore intensity. From the moment they stepped on stage, it was clear the band came ready to unleash a set that was fast, tight, and absolutely explosive.

Frontman Lukas Magyar delivered an outstanding vocal performance — sharp, controlled, and powerful. His ability to switch between soaring cleans and crushing screams added depth and intensity to every track. Each vocal line cut through the room with clarity, showing just how dialed‑in and polished Veil of Maya’s live sound has become.

The band didn’t just perform — they moved. Veil of Maya used the stage like a bouncy ball ricocheting off every corner. Guitarist Marc Okubo, bassist Danny Hauser, and drummer Sam Applebaum kept the energy sky‑high, running, jumping, and throwing themselves into the performance with nonstop momentum.

UPDATE: Following this tour run, Veil of Maya entered a period of inactivity and are currently on hiatus. Vocalist Lukas Magyar officially departed the band in 2025, marking the end of an era for their lineup and live performances.
