CORELLA NEW SINGLE "REWIRE"

the rapidly rising Manchester band CORELLA have released their brand new single “Rewire,” marking their first release via FLG. The new track arrives alongside an official music video, available below.

Produced by Grammy-winning Jason Perry (The Molotovs, McFly, Don Broco), “Rewire” is a blistering rock track driven by soaring guitar riffs, relentless drumbeats, and thunderous bass. Commanding, snarled vocals tap into the political discontent felt on both sides of the Atlantic.

Regarding the new single, frontman and guitarist Joel Smith shares:

“A lot of people are so vulnerable, especially in the UK, it feels as though they’ll believe anything that gets put in front of them. This song came out of our frustration from simply observing that people have maybe been ‘rewired’ to think a certain way, but also encouraging them to flip that on its head, to challenge the status quo.” 

"Rewire" has been met with rapturous reception at CORELLA’s fierce live shows, having debuted at summer festivals across the UK and Europe last year. In 2026, the track has continued to gain momentum on the band’s UK tour with Kaiser Chiefs, who personally selected CORELLA as support after witnessing their scorching main stage performance at Kendal Calling.

Drawing from their formative indie influences, the band have honed their sound into something darker, sharper, and more urgent. “Rewire” is the first taste of new music from CORELLA since the release of their 2024 debut album ‘Once Upon A Weekend,’ an album which smashed the Top 5 of the Independent Breakers Chart, and Top 20 of Album Sales, Physical and Vinyl charts.

With a wealth of support for the band coming across Radio 1, Radio X and BBC Introducing, while also clocking up over 70 million streams since the release of the debut album, CORELLA have ignited a following which has led to numerous capacity headline tours across the UK and Europe, main stage performances at further festivals including Reading & Leeds, while also touring with the likes of Pale Waves, Circa Waves and The Wombats.
