GRAMMY®-nominated recording artist mgk releases his highly anticipated music video for “goddamn,” delivering a cinematic, carefree, and rare glimpse of life before showtime in Europe. Directed by Sam Cahill, the video follows mgk walking through areas across his Lost Americana tour and, through a documentary-style lens, captures moments of him and his band heading backstage as they prepare for the show. The visual feels less like a staged production and more like casual moments pulled directly from tour life. Listen and watch HERE.

Written, produced, and performed alongside longtime mgk collaborators SlimXXBazeXXNick Long, and No Love For The Middle Child, “goddamn” serves as an homage to rock and roll while reflecting on unfiltered, spontaneous decisions and the lessons that come with them. mgk’s ambitious lost americana tour continues to conquer arenas and amphitheaters across North America, the EU/UK, and Australia/New Zealand into July.

As one outlet noted that mgk’s performance was “a masterclass in area-rock showmanship” and

also mentioned that “it was clear that the “Lost Americana” tour is more than just a comeback—it’s a victory lap that will stay ingrained in the memory of the lucky fans witnessing the spectacle” (Reflection of Darkness). More information on the upcoming tour dates can be found HERE.

lost americana marked his third consecutive No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Rock & Alternative Albumschart. Last week, mgk made a massive appearance at Paris Fashion Week alongside his oldest daughter Casie at the Stella McCartney show. To kick off 2026, he released his highly anticipated single “times of my life,” which has quickly become a fan favorite on tour. In late November, he teamed up with Jonas Brothers, for a fizzy, swoon-worthy remix of his inescapable hit cliché.” An enduring cornerstone of lost americana, the song inspired an iconic music video also directed by Sam Cahill— complete with choreography by Sean Bankhead (Usher, Tate McRae), as well as he candid, piano-powered rendition, cliché (sad version).”
