GARY ALLAN, LANCO and CANAAN SMITH LIVE!!

f28 covered the QDR Halloween Harvest Ball Saturday October 10th 2017.   The concert was held at the very historic Lincoln Theatre in Raleigh NC.  The venue has a old school music vibe to it.  I have been wanting to photograph this venue for a long time and was excited when I got the chance.

I arrived to the venue early to photograph the meet and greet with fans and the artists.  I was able to watch them do some sound checks and it was really cool to watch.  The band that you will see in the video below was Lanco.  The lead singer was not on stage but the band was doing a sound check and just running through the motions to make sure everything sounded great.  They started doing this melody and it was freaking beautiful!  I stopped what I was doing grabbed my phone and just started recording.  I loved it.  Listen below. 

After the sound check there was a break and everyone just waited around for the winners to come in and do the meet and greet.  I photographed them as they walked in to meet the musicians and bands that were playing. 

After the meet and greet people starting coming in and finding there spots for the night.  There were a few people who went straight to the front of the stage.  

I had a great time photographing the show, hanging out with QDR crew, meeting and talking with the bands.  Great experience and I got some great photographs that I am happy with.  Check out below and thanks for reading!  Don't forget to subscribe to the mailing list for access to the store, future dates and BTS videos!
