TOUR ALERT! | MELVINS & REDD KROSS

THE MELVINS AND REDD KROSS ANNOUNCE EXTENSIVE

U.S. TOUR. SHITKID OPENS ON 10-WEEK TREK

LOS ANGELES, May 14, 2019 – The Melvins return to U.S. highways this fall as the band preps for a 10-week tour across the country, kicking off on Sept. 3 at The Casbah in San Diego.

Redd Kross and ShitKid are two of my favorites. We’ve already done fantastic European tours with both of these bands so I know bringing them out with us on this trip will be a total mind blower for the lucky fans.
— Buzz Osborne

Joining the Melvins for the tour are Redd Kross and Sweden’s ShitKid. Redd Kross, who are prepping a new album, and the Melvins share a communal band member with bass player Steven McDonald performing in both outfits. Melvins’ drummer Dale Crover will also pull double duty, manning the drums for both his band and Redd Kross. Tickets are on-sale this Friday, May 17, at 10 am local time.

The news of the outing arrives as Ipecac Recordings preps a combined vinyl reissue of the Melvins’ classics The Maggot and The Bootlicker. A release date will be announced soon. Amphetamine Reptile features the trio of bands on a pair of hyper limited releases, available exclusively on the tour.
