SHAKORI HILLS COVERAGE! | GRASSROOTS FESTIVAL
In the small town of Pittsboro, NC, there is a hidden treasure going on from the 2nd-5th of May. It's the Shakori Hills Grassroots Festival. And this year, they celebrated its 20th Anniversary! And what a celebration it was! From acts like Sarah Shook & The Disarmers, Annie in the Water, to Scythian, Watchhouse, there was something for everyone to enjoy. This festival is a family friendly event as well. From the music, food, and just overall a great time, Shakori is a must go festival. It's twice a year. This year was a little more wet, as it rained a lot, but it didn't stop the fun! There were still smiles and people singing along with the bands they were watching, plenty of dancing, and every once in a while, you would see bubbles being blown. It's never a bad time at Shakori. If you haven't been, don't worry, the next one is on October 3rd-6th! I really hope to see you there, you will not be disappointed! Bring the family, friends, and camp out there! It's a blast! Happy Shakori!!!
