AJR LIVE!! | SHORELINE AMPHITHEATER CALIFORNIA
Coverage by Ricki Wood
AJR stormed into Shoreline Amphitheatre on night two of their Somewhere in the Sky tour—and they brought the BANG! From the moment they took the stage, the band radiated energy, instantly turning every fan in the crowd Way Less Sad.
What makes AJR’s live shows unique is their minimalist setup: typically just a massive LED screen. No pyrotechnics, no theatrics—just three brothers commanding the stage with pure charisma and musical punch. It’s a testament to how captivating they’ve become. The last time I saw them was in 2016, opening for We The Kings. Since then, they’ve grown into a full-blown powerhouse.
The crowd energy was electric. Every scream, jump, and tear was mirrored by the band, creating an unbreakable feedback loop of joy and intensity. I spoke with several fans who said this was their first concert ever—and AJR made it unforgettable. Something tells me it won’t be their last time dancing in an AJR crowd.
