AVATAR LIVE!! | THE UNDERGROUND

On July 19th, Avatar, along with Light the Torch graced The Underground in Charlotte, NC. Also, along for the ride was a band called Callous Daoboys. The crowd was feeling the energy this seven-piece band gave out. Carson Pace (singer) thanked the crowd several times for being there and for the other bands giving them the chance to go on tour with them. Carson had mentioned that “Normally you can find us playing at a Barnes & Noble,” during his heartfelt appreciation for the opportunity to be on this tour.

Light the Torch came on stage next. Not going to lie, I was surprised. And what an awesome surprise it was! I was not aware that they were along on the tour. Howard Jones commanded the stage and never sounded better! Howard did not stay in one place long. He paced the stage, singing/screaming his heart out. They covered a lot of fan favorites, and the crowd (and yours truly) sang along.

After Light the Torch left the stage, the crowd started cheering for Avatar. And man, it got loud. Avatar held nothing back. From the amazing setlist to the famous "windmills", Avatar gave it all on stage and the packed venue gave it right back. There was no such thing as a bad spot there. Avatar thanked the crowd several times for being there. From beginning to end, the show was amazing. No way anybody didn't leave with their ears ringing and a huge smile on their face. You really need to catch Avatar live to experience the whole thing.
